About this item

Product Description Best enjoyed with a cup of tea and a thunderous rainstorm, lost in your mind in a busy train station in a city far away from home. Some use this paper to capture the shreds of fleeting everyday wisdom, some to complete their literary masterpiece, and others simply as a canvas to capture the eye of their mind. How does your story begin? How you capture what you create is just as important as what you create. Here are 4 reasons why the Wanderings deckle edge paper fits you perfectly: 1. Handmade by artisans known as "Kagzi". This name is derived from the Urdu word "kavas", i.e. paper. In the 16th century, Raja Man Singh, the ruler of Ambar, settled the Kagzi in Sanganer on the banks of the Saraswati River where clear water was readily available. Thus, this city became one of the largest papermaking centers in North India. The size of this community has decreased in recent years. In Sanganer near Jaipur there is a small area of 'Kagzi', where a part of this community had settled thousands of years ago. 2. Eco-friendly vintage paper that is tree free, acid free and chemical free. Our paper is made from 100% recycled cotton, handmade by artisans and dried in the sun. 3. Deckle Antique Edge Paper looks great, feels great and is just cool. 130gsm paper is thick enough to be used as watercolor paper, but flexible enough for writing. 4. Create, write, sketch, sew - the uses are endless! Perfect for recording your deepest thoughts or exercising your inner creativity through sketching or watercolors. Your Wanderings vintage handmade paper is a blank slate for anything else you can dream of. Legal Disclaimer International products are sourced from abroad, and may differ from local products.
