The portal is where you confirm the day’s orders, correct stock and set your prices. It is a separate application from the catalogue your customers browse — but not a separate account. If you already shop on Mukana Hub, that email and password sign you in here, and the portal will offer you the seller role if you have not taken it yet.

How this sign-in is guarded

Your password is checked on the server and stored only as a salted scrypt hash. Signing in sets an httpOnly session cookie your browser cannot read or edit — the portal takes it to the session table before it renders a shop, and which shops the account owns is resolved there, from a table no browser ever receives.

Demonstration accounts

Eight shop owners, twelve shops between them. Sign in as any of them to see that the portal shows that owner’s shops and no others. Every one uses the password mukana-hub-demo, and every one works on the buyer side too.
