About this item

Non-Returnable. The Snap Every Dog Would Trade Anything For: Ask any South African dog what the best sound in the world is, and the answer is simple: the snap of a droëwors stick breaking in half. Pets Elite Snap Sticks are our dried sausage, made thin - the same unique in-house blend of pork and beef, prepared in the style of traditional South African droëwors, completely salt-free and spice-free, extruded into slim, snappable sticks that break cleanly into perfect reward-sized pieces. It's the Pets Elite Ancestral Lifestyle in its snappiest form, built on BARF (Biologically Appropriate Raw Food) principles: real ingredients, minimal processing, honest preparation. Thin, Snappable, Genuinely Versatile: Thin enough to snap into training-sized pieces in a second. Soft enough for puppies, seniors, and every dog in between. Meaty enough that even the fussiest eater in the house suddenly develops perfect recall. Chewing That's Easy on Every Mouth: Rated 2/5 Soft on our Chewyness Scale, this is an easy, approachable chew that suits most dogs and life stages - soft enough for gentler chewers, satisfying enough to keep them coming back for the next one. Our Chewyness Scale: 1 = Very Soft | 2 = Soft | 3 = Medium Hard | 4 = Hard | 5 = Very Hard A Note on Aroma: This is a real, honestly prepared product with a strong natural smell - completely normal, and exactly what makes it so appealing to your dog. Key Benefits: Single-Blend Focus, Naturally Preserved: Real pork and beef with vinegar, used the Pets Elite way for natural shelf stability Snap-and-Share Format: Breaks cleanly into perfect training-sized pieces Salt-Free, Spice-Free: Traditional droëwors-style curing, nothing added High in Protein: Naturally supports strong muscles and everyday energy Great for All Life Stages: Soft enough for puppies and seniors alike Great Value: 400g Bulk Pack for regular training and everyday treating Ingredients: Pork & Beef (Dried Sausage), Vinegar (used in preparation for natural shelf stability). Freshness Note: This is a real meat product with no artificial preservatives, so once opened, always reseal the packet tightly between feeds. Extended exposure to air will dry the product out and affect freshness, and keeping it sealed also stops insects from getting to it - resealing after every use is the simplest way to keep it fresh and safe. A Note on Natural Variation: This product is sold by weight, not by unit count - the number of sticks in each 400g pack will vary naturally depending on piece size. Piece length and colour will also vary slightly pack to pack - the honest reality of a real, naturally prepared product. Quality never varies, character does. Suitable For: Dogs of all breeds, sizes and ages | Training and frequent rewarding | Puppies and seniors | Dogs needing high-protein, everyday treats | Raw feeders and BARF (Biologically Appropriate Raw Food) diet enthusiasts Not Recommended For: Dogs that gulp treats whole without chewing Feeding Tip: Always supervise chewing and keep fresh water available. Wash hands after handling. Give as part of a balanced treating routine, staying under 10% of daily calorie intake. What's in the Box: 1 × Pets Elite Snap Sticks Bulk Pack, 400g. About Pets Elite: Founded in Cape Town in 2005, Pets Elite is one of the pioneers of natural dog treats and raw nutrition in South Africa. Our entire range is built around the Pets Elite Ancestral Lifestyle philosophy and the principles of the BARF (Biologically Appropriate Raw Food) diet: real animal protein, whole-animal nutrition, minimal processing and honest, natural preservation. We avoid grains, sugars, salts, colourants and artificial additives - none of which offer any real benefit to dogs - producing treats designed to support long-term health, vitality and natural feeding instincts. We focus on human-grade meats, natural fats, traditional methods and gentle preservation - delivering food closer to what dogs' wild ancestors evolved to consume. The result: treats made to support everyday vitality, help maintain a glossy coat and settled digestion, and encourage the natural energy that comes from eating real food.
