Hassle-Free Exchanges & Returns for 30 Days. · 12-Month Limited Warranty. Not every professional works with both ears in. Some workdays demand that one ear stays open - to a colleague's question, a supervisor's instruction, a customer walking through the door, or simply the ambient awareness that keeps you connected to your physical environment while the other ear is locked on a call. The Yealink UH34 Mono is the headset for these professionals. A single-ear wired USB headset that delivers professional-grade wideband audio quality, reliable noise cancellation, and hearing protection - while keeping one ear permanently free. Plug the USB-A connector into any laptop, PC, or compatible Yealink IP phone and you are ready to take a call. No drivers. No software. No configuration. Recognised immediately and ready in seconds. The 28mm speaker driver delivers HD Voice wideband audio across the full 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz frequency range. Automatic equalisation continuously adjusts the audio profile without manual input. A high signal-to-noise ratio speaker and independent cavity design reduce ambient sound reaching the ear through passive acoustic isolation. The noise-cancelling unidirectional microphone captures your voice with wideband precision while reducing background noise from other directions. A Digital Signal Processor (DSP) works continuously to eliminate environmental noise from the transmitted audio signal. Automatic Gain Control (AGC) keeps your transmitted voice consistent in level regardless of how quietly or loudly you speak. Yealink ActiveProtection limits sudden audio spikes before they reach the speaker. The 320-degree bendable boom arm stays in position once set - left or right, at any angle - with no spring-back or loosening. At just 82.5 grams , the UH34 Mono is significantly lighter than a stereo headset, making it one of the most comfortable all-day wired headsets available. Leatherette ear cushion is soft, durable, and user-replaceable . Compatible with Yealink IP phones including T42U, T43U, T46U, T48U, T53, T54W, T57W, T58A, VP59 and more, for native USB integration and enhanced call control. Manageable via Yealink USB Connect and the Yealink Device Management Platform . One ear free. All day comfortable. Plug in and go. KEY FEATURES Situational Awareness - One Ear Always Open The UH34 Mono's single-ear design keeps one ear completely open to the physical environment. Contact centre agents hear supervisors approaching or providing live guidance. Open-plan office workers remain accessible to colleagues. Customer-facing professionals hear walk-in visitors. Reception staff hear announcements. For all these users, a stereo headset that blocks both ears is the wrong tool. The UH34 Mono is the right one - delivering professional call quality while maintaining full awareness of the room. Noise-Cancelling Microphone with DSP and AGC The unidirectional noise-cancelling microphone captures your voice directly while reducing pickup of off-axis background sounds. A DSP (Digital Signal Processor) analyses the microphone signal in real time and removes environmental background noise - keyboard sounds, office conversation, air conditioning - before your voice is transmitted. AGC (Automatic Gain Control) monitors your speaking volume and adjusts the microphone gain continuously, keeping your transmitted voice at a consistent, professional level regardless of variation. Together, DSP and AGC deliver clean, consistent voice quality on every call. ActiveProtection - Hearing Safety Throughout the Day Yealink ActiveProtection monitors audio output and intercepts sudden loud sounds - unexpected spikes, feedback incidents, abrupt volume changes - before they reach the speaker. For professionals wearing a headset through a full working day, this continuous, automatic hearing protection operates without any configuration and without affecting normal call audio quality. 28mm Speaker - HD Wideband Audio The 28mm speaker driver delivers HD Voice wideband audio across the full 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz frequency range at 93 dB sensitivity. Voices on calls sound natural, present, and easy to understand - wideband audio reproduces the full frequency range of human speech rather than the compressed, narrow-band sound of basic headsets. Automatic equalisation optimises the audio profile without any manual adjustment. Independent Cavity Design - Passive Noise Reduction The speaker housing uses an independent cavity design that limits the amount of ambient environmental noise that bleeds through the ear cup to reach the listener. Combined with the passive seal of the leatherette ear cushion, the UH34 Mono creates a noticeably quieter listening environment than the surrounding space - without requiring any active electronics. 320-Degree Bendable Boom Arm - Left or Right The boom arm bends through 320 degrees and holds its position firmly once set - no spring-back, no loosening over time. Position the microphone precisely for left-ear or right-ear wearing, at whatever angle captures your voice best. Set it once and it stays. More durable and stable than rotating plastic arms that loosen after months of daily use. 82.5 Grams - Featherlight All-Day Comfort At 82.5 grams, the UH34 Mono is 10-30% lighter than comparable headsets in the same category and significantly lighter than any stereo headset. This low weight distributes naturally across the headband without concentrated pressure - making it genuinely comfortable through long contact centre shifts and all-day office use. Leatherette Ear Cushion - Replaceable Soft leatherette ear cushion provides comfortable passive contact against the ear for extended wearing sessions. The ear cushion is user-replaceable - available as accessories from Yealink and authorised resellers - keeping the headset comfortable and hygienic over its full working life. USB-A Plug-and-Play - No Drivers Required Connect the USB-A cable to any laptop or PC and the UH34 Mono is immediately recognised as a USB audio device on Windows and macOS. No drivers, no software installation, no IT configuration. Inline controls on the 0.9-metre USB cable handle volume, mute, and call answer/end. Native Yealink IP Phone Integration Connects via USB to a wide range of Yealink IP phones including T42U, T43U, T46U, T48U, T53, T53W, T54W, T57W, T58A, and VP59, as well as T41S, T42S, T46S, and T48S with firmware version 82 or higher. Native USB integration provides enhanced call control functions directly through the desk phone. A: Contact centre agents frequently need to hear both their call and their physical environment simultaneously - a team leader approaching with real-time coaching, a supervisor passing an urgent message, a floor announcement. A stereo headset that blocks both ears makes all of this impossible. The UH34 Mono keeps one ear on the call and one ear on the environment - the correct working pattern for supervised contact centre environments. At 82.5 grams, it is also significantly lighter than any stereo headset, reducing wearing fatigue across long shifts. Q: What does DSP noise reduction do? A: DSP (Digital Signal Processing) analyses the microphone signal in real time and identifies non-speech environmental sounds - keyboard typing, office conversation, air conditioning, ambient noise - and removes them from the audio before transmission. Rather than simply amplifying everything the microphone picks up, DSP separates your voice signal from background noise and delivers a cleaner, more focused voice to your callers. Q: What does AGC (Automatic Gain Control) do? A: AGC monitors your outgoing voice level continuously and adjusts the microphone amplification in real time to keep your transmitted volume consistent - compensating for moments when you speak quietly or raise your voice. Without AGC, callers would experience significant volume variation throughout a call. AGC maintains a professional, consistent audio level regardless of your natural speaking variation. Q: Does the UH34 Mono require any drivers or software? A: No. The UH34 Mono is plug-and-play. Connect the USB-A cable to any Windows or macOS computer and it is immediately recognised without any installation. Yealink USB Connect and the Device Management Platform are available optionally for IT administrators managing fleet deployments. Q: What is the difference between the UH34 Mono and the UH34 Dual? A: The UH34 Mono has a single earcup covering one ear, leaving the other ear completely open. The UH34 Dual has two earcups covering both ears for full stereo immersion and passive isolation. Both versions use the same microphone, DSP, AGC, ActiveProtection, boom arm, inline controller, and cable. The Mono weighs 82.5g versus the Dual's 118g. Choose Mono for situational awareness and lighter long-term wear. Choose Dual for full immersion and maximum passive isolation. Q: Is the UH34 Mono compatible with Yealink IP phones? A: Yes. The UH34 Mono connects via USB to Yealink IP phones including T42U, T43U, T46U, T48U, T53, T53W, T54W, T57W, T58A, and VP59 for native enhanced call control. T41S, T42S, T46S, and T48S also support it with firmware version 82 or higher. Q: Are the ear cushions replaceable? A: Yes. The leatherette ear cushion is user-replaceable, available as an accessory from Yealink and authorised resellers - extending the working life of the headset and maintaining comfort and hygiene over time. Q: What warranty does the Yealink UH34 Mono come with? A: The Yealink UH34 Mono is covered by Yealink's standard manufacturer warranty. Please confirm current terms with your retailer at time of purchase. A 12-month warranty is the standard term noted by international resellers. WHY CHOOSE YEALINK?
