Compatibility Note: OE Reference Number: 5Q1959839, interchangeable with OE numbers 5G1959839A and 5GG959839. Compatible with 2016-2020 Volkswagen Golf MK7 models. This product is only suitable for vehicles equipped with the original keyless start system; vehicles without the original push-button start system cannot be directly upgraded using this product. Material and Structure Introduction: The button housing is made of ABS plastic, with a metal decorative ring and standard "Start/Stop" markings. The main body is made of high-strength engineering plastic, with built-in metal electrical contacts and backlit LED beads. The internal metal contacts undergo basic anti-oxidation treatment; prolonged exposure to high temperature, high humidity, and automotive grease can cause contact delay and backlight dimming. Main Functions: Pressing the button sends an electrical signal to the vehicle's ECU, enabling the original one-button start and stop function; the built-in backlight provides good visibility in low-light interior environments. Note: If the vehicle's ignition failure is caused by a faulty keyless antenna, broken wiring harness, or damaged body control module, replacing this button will not eliminate the problem.
