The modern hybrid workspace is a battlefield of distraction - and for professionals who spend most of their day on calls, the headset they rely on needs to win that battle on two fronts simultaneously: blocking the noise that reaches their ears, and blocking the noise that reaches their callers. The Yealink WH68 is the first DECT wireless headset in its class to fight on both fronts at once. Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation is the WH68's defining technology. Most headsets that claim "noise cancellation" offer only one of two things - microphone noise filtering (so callers hear less background noise) or listener-side ANC (so you hear less background noise). The WH68 delivers both simultaneously. Four microphones working in a feedforward and feedback configuration actively cancel noise in both directions - filtering what you send and what you hear - so you can both sound professional and stay focused at the same time. Yealink claims up to 96% noise cancellation performance, validated to meet Microsoft's Open Office certification requirements - the standard specifically designed for the noisy open-plan environments where most professionals actually work. The microphone side of that system is Yealink Acoustic Shield Technology 3.0 - the same advanced AI voice isolation system as the premium UH44 and BH78. Four strategically positioned microphones with advanced voice isolation processing deliver crystal-clear voice transmission in demanding environments. The WH68 has been specifically validated to meet Open Office noise cancellation standards - not just laboratory conditions, but the variable, multi-source, unpredictable noise of real open-plan workspaces. Like the WH64, the WH68 integrates both DECT and Bluetooth technology directly into the headset itself - not the base. DECT mode delivers interference-free enterprise range of up to 185 metres (607 feet) with Secure DECT authentication and encryption. Bluetooth mode delivers up to 50 metres of mobile flexibility - leave the base at your desk and take smartphone calls anywhere, without cables. One-touch switching moves seamlessly between DECT and Bluetooth, between PC softphone and desk phone. The DECT base connects simultaneously to your computer and desk phone via dual USB ports, with one-touch switching via capacitive base buttons. A USB-C fast charging cable also allows direct headset charging away from the base. Wearing comfort was designed using biometric measurements from hundreds of heads . The ergonomic headband applies precisely calibrated, evenly distributed pressure with no hotspots. Soft memory foam ear cushions with petal-shaped vents - a unique breathable design that channels heat away from the ear while maintaining acoustic isolation - wrap the ears in what reviewers describe as a "lighter than air" contact. Oval-shaped earcups rotate freely to accommodate every head geometry. At 155 grams , the WH68 is lighter than most comparable dual-ear wireless headsets. 32 hours of Bluetooth talk time and 16 hours of DECT talk time . 48 hours of Bluetooth music . 195 hours of standby . And a 1.5-hour fast charge that takes the headset from flat to full within a lunch break. Dual-sided busylights on both earcups illuminate red when you are on a call - visible from every angle. Dynamic EQ switches audio profiles automatically between calls and music. User hearing protection prevents acoustic shock during long wearing sessions. Compatible with all major collaboration platforms. Natively integrated with Yealink IP phones. Broad third-party desk phone compatibility via USB and optional EHS62 adapter. Manageable at scale via Yealink USB Connect. Hybrid ANC. DECT freedom. Open office ready. All day. KEY FEATURES Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation - Both Directions, Simultaneously The WH68's Hybrid ANC is the standout feature that separates it from most competing DECT wireless headsets. Hybrid ANC means active noise cancellation operates in two directions at once. Uplink ANC - working on the microphone signal - filters background noise from what you transmit, so your callers hear your voice clearly without the surrounding office. Downlink ANC - working on the speaker signal - blocks ambient noise from reaching your ears, so you can focus on the call without the surrounding office distracting you. Most headsets offer one or the other. The WH68 delivers both simultaneously, achieving up to 96% noise cancellation performance in the combined system. This is not a marketing figure - the WH68 has been validated to meet Microsoft's Open Office certification requirements , the standard that specifically tests noise cancellation performance in real open-plan office conditions rather than controlled laboratory settings. Yealink Acoustic Shield Technology 3.0 - Four-Microphone AI Voice Isolation Four microphones - two feedforward and two feedback - are positioned strategically across the WH68's earcup design to create a comprehensive acoustic capture system. Yealink Acoustic Shield Technology 3.0 processes the combined input from all four microphones using advanced AI voice isolation algorithms, distinguishing your voice from background sounds and delivering consistently clean, professional voice transmission. The same Acoustic Shield 3.0 system powers Yealink's premium BH78 and UH44 - the WH68 brings this technology to a DECT wireless headset format for the first time. Microsoft Open Office Certified - Validated for the Real World Open Office certification is a specific Microsoft validation that goes beyond standard UC certification. It validates a headset's noise cancellation performance specifically in busy, loud, open-plan office environments - the kind of real-world conditions where most professional headsets are actually used, not the controlled laboratory conditions of standard certification. The WH68's 96% noise cancellation performance meets these Open Office requirements, giving enterprise buyers confidence that the headset will perform in their actual work environment, not just in a test. DECT + Bluetooth Hybrid - Both in the Headset Like the WH64, the WH68 integrates both DECT and Bluetooth directly into the headset itself rather than the base. DECT provides enterprise-grade, interference-free wireless performance with a range of up to 185 metres (607 feet) and Secure DECT authentication and encryption - operating on a dedicated frequency completely separate from congested Wi-Fi and Bluetooth spectrum. Bluetooth provides up to 50 metres of mobile flexibility - connect your smartphone and take calls away from the desk without needing the base. One-touch switching transitions between DECT and Bluetooth modes instantly. 32 Hours Bluetooth Talk Time / 16 Hours DECT Talk Time Up to 32 hours of talk time in Bluetooth mode and 16 hours in DECT mode on a single charge. Music extends to 48 hours in Bluetooth mode and 19 hours in DECT mode . Standby reaches 195 hours . The 1.5-hour fast charge via the base or USB-C cable means a full charge is achievable within a standard lunch break - from flat to ready in 90 minutes. Simultaneous PC and Desk Phone via Dual-USB Base The DECT base connects simultaneously to your computer and desk phone or IP phone via its dual USB ports. Both devices are live at all times - switch between your PC softphone and desk phone with a single touch of the capacitive base buttons. The base also serves as the charging stand, automatically topping up the headset whenever it is docked. USB-C direct charging is also supported for charging away from the desk. 30mm Dual Speakers - 129dB Sensitivity with Dynamic EQ Dual 30mm speaker drivers deliver audio at 129 dB sensitivity across the full 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency range in music mode, and 100 Hz to 8 kHz in call mode. Dynamic EQ switches automatically between these profiles - music mode for media, call mode for conversations - without any manual adjustment. Rich, immersive stereo audio for both calls and music from the same headset. Petal-Shaped Vented Memory Foam Ear Cushions - Breathable All-Day Comfort The WH68's ear cushions feature a distinctive petal-shaped vent design - an ergonomic innovation that channels heat away from the ear during extended wearing sessions, improving ventilation and reducing the heat build-up that makes most closed-back headsets uncomfortable after hours of wear. The underlying soft memory foam conforms to the shape of the ear over time, distributing pressure evenly. Reviewers describe the sensation as cushions that "melt away against the ear leaving you with a lighter than air feeling." The oval-shaped earcups rotate freely to fit every head geometry comfortably. Float-on-Air Biometric Ergonomic Design The WH68's headband was designed using biometric measurements from hundreds of heads - collecting data on how different head shapes, sizes, and wearing preferences distribute pressure to engineer a headband that applies precisely the right amount of evenly distributed pressure for a comfortable, secure fit on every user. The padded headband eliminates concentrated pressure points and hotspots - the primary cause of headband fatigue during long wearing sessions. Dual-Sided Busylights - 360-Degree Call Status Visibility Integrated busylights in both earcups illuminate red during calls, visible from every direction in your workspace - ensuring colleagues approaching from any angle can immediately see that you are engaged. In open-plan offices and contact centres where interruptions are constant, dual busylights eliminate the need for verbal signals and protect your focus. The optional external BLT60 busylight is available separately for enhanced visibility in larger environments. User Hearing Protection User hearing protection technology monitors audio output during wearing sessions and manages exposure to prevent acoustic shock and long-term hearing damage - silently active throughout every call and listening session without any configuration required. Compatible with Yealink IP Phones and Third-Party Desk Phones Connects natively via USB to Yealink IP phones including T58W, T54W, T57W, T53, T44W, T34W, T43U, T46U, T48U, and MP56/58/54. Third-party desk phones including Poly VVX350/401/411/450/600, Cisco 8861, Grandstream GXP2170/2624, and Avaya J189 connect via USB cable. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Q: What is Hybrid ANC and why is it different from standard noise cancellation? A: Most headsets that offer noise cancellation provide only one of two things: microphone noise filtering (uplink ANC), which reduces background noise in what you transmit to your callers; or listener ANC (downlink ANC), which reduces background noise reaching your ears from the speaker. Very few headsets offer both simultaneously, and most DECT headsets offer neither on the listener side. The WH68's Hybrid ANC operates both simultaneously. Uplink ANC uses the four-microphone Acoustic Shield 3.0 system to filter background noise from your transmitted voice. Downlink ANC actively cancels ambient noise reaching your ears through the speaker - so you can focus on calls without the open office distracting you. The combined system achieves up to 96% noise cancellation, validated to meet Microsoft's Open Office certification requirements. Q: What does Microsoft Open Office certification mean? A: Microsoft Open Office certification is a specific validation standard that tests a headset's noise cancellation performance in conditions that simulate busy, loud, open-plan office environments - multiple simultaneous noise sources, variable ambient levels, and the kind of complex acoustic environment that real open offices produce. It is a more demanding standard than standard UC or Teams certification, which typically validates platform integration rather than acoustic performance in challenging environments. The WH68's Hybrid ANC has been validated to meet Open Office requirements - giving enterprise buyers confidence that it will perform in their actual work environment, not just in laboratory conditions. Q: What is the difference between the WH68 and the WH64? A: Both headsets integrate DECT and Bluetooth in the headset itself. The key differences are the ANC system and microphone count. The WH64 uses three microphones and Acoustic Shield 2.0 with no listener-side ANC - excellent voice transmission but no active noise blocking for the wearer. The WH68 uses four microphones and Acoustic Shield 3.0 with Hybrid ANC - both uplink and downlink noise cancellation simultaneously. The WH68 also carries Microsoft Open Office certification. The WH64 is the right choice for professionals who primarily need clear voice transmission and long range. The WH68 is the right choice for professionals who additionally need to block out background noise while listening - particularly in loud open-plan environments where both sides of the ANC benefit matter. Q: What are the petal-shaped vented ear cushions? A: The WH68's ear cushions use a distinctive petal-shaped vent design - small channels cut in a petal pattern through the surface of the memory foam cushions. These vents serve two purposes: they improve air circulation around the ear, channelling heat away from the skin surface during extended wearing sessions, and they reduce the pressure seal of the cushion against the ear, making the contact feel lighter and more breathable. The combination of ventilation and soft memory foam produces what reviewers describe as a "lighter than air" feel that remains comfortable through long all-day sessions in a way that solid closed-back cushions do not. Q: Can I use the WH68 as a Bluetooth headset without the base? A: Yes. Because the Bluetooth chip is integrated into the headset itself, you can remove it from the base and use it as a standalone Bluetooth headset connecting to your smartphone, tablet, or any Bluetooth-enabled device within 50 metres - without the base. This means you can take mobile calls while away from your desk, in meeting rooms, or outside the office without carrying the base. When you return and place the headset on the base, it transitions back to DECT mode and charges automatically. Q: How does the dual-USB base work? A: The DECT base has two USB ports - one connects to your computer and one connects to your desk phone or IP phone. Both are simultaneously active at all times. When a call arrives on your desk phone, you answer through the headset. When a call arrives via your PC softphone, you answer through the headset. One-touch switching via the capacitive base buttons moves the active connection between your PC and desk phone instantly - no cable swapping required. Q: How fast does the WH68 charge? A: The WH68 charges to full in 1.5 hours - via the DECT base charging stand or directly via USB-C cable. This means a complete charge fits comfortably within a standard lunch break. When docked on the base between calls throughout the day, the headset tops up continuously, so most users never experience the battery reaching a critically low level during a working day. Q: Is the WH68 suitable for contact centre use? A: Yes. The WH68 is well-suited to open-plan contact centre environments. The Hybrid ANC blocks both what the agent hears and what their callers hear - essential in a high-density environment where dozens of simultaneous conversations create significant ambient noise. The DECT radio technology supports high-density deployment without signal degradation between devices. The biometric ergonomic headband and petal-vented memory foam cushions support comfortable all-day wearing through full shifts. Dual busylights signal call status from every angle. Yealink USB Connect supports fleet management at scale. Q: What warranty does the Yealink WH68 come with? A: The Yealink WH68 is covered by a 2-year manufacturer warranty . Please confirm current terms with your retailer at time of purchase. WHY CHOOSE YEALINK?
