Pioneer 12" 1600W Car Subwoofer [TS-W312D4] The Pioneer TS-W312D4 12-inch car subwoofer is designed for users who want to add dedicated low-frequency output to a compatible vehicle audio system. With a stated maximum power rating of 1600W and RMS power handling of 500W, the subwoofer is intended to be paired with suitable amplification and an enclosure that supports the driver's installation requirements. Its IMPP honeycomb cone and dual-layer elastic polymer and fibre surround are designed to provide a strong moving surface for bass reproduction while supporting controlled cone movement during demanding playback. A ferrite magnet assembly and long voice-coil design form part of the TS-W312D4 construction, while the listed 157mm mounting depth helps installers assess enclosure and vehicle space before fitting. The product information specifies a 4-ohm impedance, and amplifier matching should always be checked carefully to ensure the completed system operates within safe electrical and power limits. Enclosure type, vehicle acoustics, amplifier settings and wiring will all influence the final bass response. When installed correctly, this Pioneer 12-inch subwoofer provides a capable foundation for a car audio system focused on stronger, deeper low-frequency performance.
