Designed for South African conditions, this shade sail offers long-term outdoor performance with mould resistance, fade resistance, reinforced edges and strong stainless-steel D-rings for a secure installation that will last for years. Key Features: HIGH UV PROTECTION: Blocks up to 90% of harmful UV rays, helping create cooler and safer outdoor spaces. DURABLE 280 GSM FABRIC: Heavy-duty knitted HDPE material engineered for long-term outdoor performance. BREATHABLE SHADE: Allows heat to escape through the woven fabric, reducing temperature build-up beneath the sail. UV RESISTANT: UV-stabilised fabric helps prevent colour fading and material breakdown over time. MOULD & MILDEW RESISTANT: Resists mould growth, making it ideal for humid or wet climates. REINFORCED CORNERS: 38 mm webbing and four rows of stitching on the corners provide added strength for harsher, windier environments. MARINE-GRADE STAINLESS-STEEL D-RINGS: Rust-resistant hardware ensures strong, long-lasting connection points for secure installation. WIND-READY WHEN TENSIONED: Designed to outlast extreme weather conditions when correctly tensioned using appropriate accessories. EASY MAINTENANCE: Simply spray down with a hose to remove dust, dirt, and bird droppings. 5-YEAR WARRANTY: Backed by a 5-year warranty against UV degradation. INSTALLATION ACCESSORIES SOLD SEPARATELY: Kalahari installation accessories are available separately and are made from the same high-quality marine-grade stainless steel for long-lasting durability. Installation: For safe and effective installation, ensure the shade sail is fully tensioned and fixed to secure mounting points. Each corner must attach to either a wall-mounted pad eye or a pole-mounted eyebolt. Use S-hooks, D-shackles or snap hooks to connect the sail's D-rings to the mounting hardware. At least one corner on a triangle, or two corners on a square or rectangle, must include a turnbuckle to achieve proper final tensioning. A strap tensioner may be used for initial tightening, and a turnbuckle must be used for the final tensioning. Correct tensioning is essential for stability in windy conditions. Kalahari installation accessories are sold separately. Care instructions: Spray down with a hose to remove dust, dirt, and bird droppings. Allow the fabric to dry naturally. Ensure the shade sail stays properly tensioned for best performance. Warranty: 5-year warranty against UV degradation.
