Compatibility: Clamps securely to handlebars, poles, rails and tubular structures with diameters between 8mm and 40mm. Mountain bike handlebars, motorcycle crash bars, trekking poles, kayak paddle shafts, tree branches, fence rails and camera tripod legs all fall within range. The included small-diameter insert narrows the minimum clamp width to 8mm for thinner poles and accessory arms. Accepts action cameras via the integrated GoPro-style two-prong mounting point, fitting GoPro, DJI Osmo Action, Insta360 and any action camera following the GoPro mounting standard. The phone clamp holds devices with widths between 60mm and 100mm, covering most current smartphones with or without cases, including iPhone 15 Pro Max, Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra and equivalent flagship models. The 1/4-inch threaded ball mount accepts compact cameras, small mirrorless bodies, LED lights, microphones and other accessories with standard tripod threads, up to a maximum combined load of 5kg when stationary or 2kg during active movement. The clamp grips round and elliptical cross-sections; square or rectangular tubes will contact only at the corners, reducing grip security. Clamp anywhere, frame anything, shoot with confidence The K&F Handlebar Clamp with Magic Arm and Phone Mount | KF31.204 is built for outdoor enthusiasts who document adventures on bikes, motorcycles or in environments where handlebar or rail mounting is practical. Clamp it to a mountain bike handlebar for trail footage, a motorcycle crash bar for ride documentation, a tree branch for a wildlife timelapse, or a balcony rail for a cityscape. The crab-jaw clamp grips round and elliptical cross-sections from 8mm to 40mm diameter, covering thin mountain-bike bars, thick stair rails, trekking poles and tent frames without needing adapters. The dual ball-head magic arm joint gives full multi-axis articulation, so you can dial in exact framing without repositioning the clamp itself, critical when the mounting point is fixed. Aluminium construction and ribbed rubber pads mean it does not twist loose mid-ride, which is the failure mode of plastic clamps. The bundled phone clamp (60mm to 100mm width), action camera mount and 1/4-inch threaded ball cover phones, GoPro-style action cameras and small mirrorless bodies up to 5kg static or 2kg during active movement. Tool-free thumb-screw tightening means setup happens in seconds, not minutes with an Allen key. This is field gear that travels with you at 209g instead of being left behind because it is too bulky. Clamp diameter range and mounting breadth The 8mm to 40mm clamp range is the core compatibility breadth that differentiates this from fixed-diameter handlebar mounts. Thin mountain-bike bars, motorcycle crash bars, kayak paddle shafts, tree branches, fence rails and camera tripod legs all fall within range. The included small-diameter insert narrows the minimum clamp width to 8mm for trekking poles, tent frames and GoPro accessory arms that the bare clamp could not grip securely. This breadth means you are not hunting for adapters mid-shoot or discovering that your mounting point is 2mm outside the clamp's range. Load capacity and trust under vibration The 5kg static load capacity covers action cameras, phones and small mirrorless bodies without the buyer second-guessing whether it will hold. The 2kg dynamic load rating (during active movement) is the recommended limit when vibration and inertia add stress, so a phone or action camera falls well under threshold, but a mirrorless body with a kit lens sits right at the edge. Aluminium construction and anti-slip rubber pads mean the clamp does not twist loose on rough trails or bumpy rides, which is the trust-under-load signal that separates this from plastic alternatives. The buyer has likely experienced a cheap mount coming loose, twisting out of frame or worse, dropping a camera. This clamp solves that anxiety. Magic arm articulation and framing freedom The dual ball-head magic arm is the category differentiator that fixed-pivot handlebar mounts do not offer. Full 360 rotation at both joints means you can mount to a horizontal bar but angle the camera downward for a POV shot, or clamp vertically but shoot horizontally. This is the difference between getting the exact framing you want and settling for whatever angle the mounting point dictates. Independent angle adjustment at both joints gives extensive control over positioning, so you can capture reels, stories and widescreen video from one mount position without repositioning the clamp itself. This is critical when the mounting point (handlebar, frame tube, helmet cam arm) is fixed and you cannot move it to improve the shot. Tool-free setup and field workflow Thumb-screw tightening means you set up and reposition in seconds without fumbling for tools in the field. Outdoor shoots are often spontaneous or time-constrained (golden hour, weather window, group ride), so tool-free adjustment is the difference between getting the shot and missing it. Switching from a handlebar mount to a tree branch mid-ride when the light changes and you need a different angle happens fast, not in minutes with an Allen key. This is a workflow simplifier that removes friction from the creative process. Phone and action camera compatibility The bundled phone clamp holds devices with widths between 60mm and 100mm, covering most current smartphones with or without cases, including iPhone 15 Pro Max, Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra and equivalent flagship models. The action camera mount follows the GoPro two-prong standard, so GoPro, DJI Osmo Action, Insta360 and any action camera using that interface clicks straight in. The 1/4-inch threaded ball mount accepts compact cameras, small mirrorless bodies, LED lights, microphones and other accessories with standard tripod threads. This breadth means the buyer is not hunting for adapters or discovering mid-shoot that their phone is 2mm too wide or their action camera needs a different mount. Portability and durability for field use At 209g and aluminium construction, this is field gear that travels with you instead of being left behind because it is too bulky. The weight disappears in a daypack, but the rigid clamping force and vibration resistance signal durability that will last seasons, not trips. The buyer is assessing whether this is a buy-once product or something they will replace next year. Solid build quality and anti-slip design communicate longevity, which justifies the price delta over plastic alternatives that feel flimsy and unreliable. The K&F Handlebar Clamp with Magic Arm and Phone Mount | KF31.204 is a dependable mounting solution for outdoor enthusiasts who document adventures on bikes, motorcycles or in environments where handlebar or rail mounting is practical. With aluminium construction, dual ball-head articulation, tool-free adjustment and broad compatibility across phones, action cameras and small mirrorless bodies, it is built to stay locked in place on rough trails and bumpy rides. Order the KF31.204 today and capture your adventures with confidence. Frequently Asked Questions: Q: Will this clamp fit my motorcycle's 25mm crash bars? A: Yes. The clamp grips round and elliptical cross-sections from 8mm to 40mm diameter without adapters, so 25mm crash bars, engine guards and most motorcycle frame tubes fall comfortably within range. The anti-slip rubber pads prevent twisting even under vibration. Q: Can I leave this mounted outdoors, or will it rust? A: The aluminium body will not rust, but the thumb-screw mechanism and ball joints are not sealed against sustained water exposure. Fine for day rides in light rain or occasional spray, but if you are mounting it permanently on a boat rail or leaving it clamped to outdoor gym equipment for weeks, expect corrosion over time. Wipe it down after wet rides to extend service life. Q: Does the phone clamp block my phone's charging port or buttons? A: The clamp grips the sides of the phone, leaving the top and bottom edges clear. Charging ports, headphone jacks and bottom-firing speakers remain accessible. Side buttons (volume, power) will be partially covered by the clamp jaws, so you will need to frame your shot and lock exposure before mounting if you rely on those controls mid-shoot. Q: What's the difference between the 5kg and 2kg load ratings? A: 5kg is the maximum static load when the clamp is mounted to a stationary surface (a railing, a parked bike, a tripod leg). 2kg is the recommended limit during active movement (riding, running, hiking) where vibration and inertia add stress. A phone or action camera falls well under 2kg; a mirrorless body with a kit lens sits right at the threshold, so test stability before committing to a long ride. Q: Will this work with my GoPro's existing mounts and adapters? A: Yes. The integrated action camera mounting point follows the GoPro two-prong standard, so any GoPro mount, adapter or accessory you already own will click straight in. The 1/4-inch threaded ball also accepts tripod-mount adapters if you prefer that route. Q: Can I clamp this to a square or rectangular tube, or only round ones? A: The crab-claw jaw is optimised for round and elliptical cross-sections. It will grip a square tube if the diagonal measurement (corner to corner) falls between 8mm and 40mm, but contact area will be limited to the corners, reducing grip security. For square or flat surfaces, a different mount design (suction cup, adhesive pad or flat-jaw clamp) will perform better.
