Firesmiths Hero Smoker & Grill - Bok Green Smoke a full rack of ribs low and slow, sear steaks over roaring coals, and finish the night with a wood-fired pizza - all from one charcoal braai. The Firesmiths Hero Smoker & Grill combines a generous 47cm cooking grid, a deep internal cooking chamber and a unique hanging food method, so you can feed a crowd without ever running out of space. Finished in a deep bok green coat and mounted on ox-wagon wheels, it is built to become the centrepiece of your patio for years to come. Designed for South African braai culture and the way we actually cook, the Hero handles a match-day afternoon of chops and wors just as comfortably as an all-day brisket. Its modular layout means you decide how it works on the day: hang, grill, smoke, roast or bake. Why You'll Love It: 360 Heat Dynamics - Firesmiths' airflow system circulates heat evenly around the chamber, making temperature control simple and delivering tender, juicy, deeply flavoured results every single time. Hang, Grill or Both - Nine steel hooks and three hanger rods let you hang ribs, leg of lamb, chicken, pork belly and biltong vertically, while the hinged grate handles steaks, boerewors, seafood and vegetables at the same time. Massive 47cm Cooking Area - The wide grill surface plus the internal chamber gives you far more usable cooking space than a standard kettle braai, so you can cater for the whole family and still have room to spare. Direct or Indirect Heat - The removable heat diffuser lets you switch between hot and fast searing and low and slow smoking in seconds, turning one unit into a braai, a smoker and a pizza oven. Pull the diffuser for flame-kissed steaks, drop it back in for pulled pork. Long-Burn Charcoal Basket - The deep basket holds enough charcoal for hours of unattended cooking, so an eight-hour brisket or a full pork shoulder is well within reach on a single load. Effortless Clean-Up - The removable ash pan catches burnt-through charcoal and slides straight out, so packing up after a long cook takes minutes instead of scraping and sweeping. The lift-out tool lets you safely remove hot components mid-cook. Built-In Temperature Gauge - A professional dial reads chamber temperature at a glance, meaning you keep the lid closed, hold your heat and never guess where your cook is sitting. Move It Anywhere - Sturdy ox-wagon wheels and a full-width handlebar let you roll the unit from garage to patio to poolside, while the side shelf keeps tongs, rubs and platters within arm's reach. Specifications: Fuel type: Charcoal and wood Cooking area: 47cm cooking grid Assembled dimensions: 93cm (H) x 60cm (W) Weight: 43kg Main material: Heavy-gauge steel with high-temperature coated finish Colour: Bok Green Cooking modes: Smoking, grilling, hanging, roasting and pizza Temperature gauge: Professional dial, front mounted Mobility: Ox-wagon wheels with handlebar Ash management: Removable ash pan Assembly: Required, illustrated assembly guide included Included cooking gear: 9 steel hooks, 3 hanger rods, hinged grate, heat diffuser, charcoal basket, ash pan and lift-out tool Care and Maintenance: Allow the unit to cool completely before emptying the ash pan and wiping out the chamber. Brush the cooking grate with a braai brush while it is still warm, then wipe with a light coat of cooking oil to protect it. Empty the ash pan after every cook - damp ash holds moisture against the steel and encourages rust. Store under a weatherproof cover or in a sheltered spot when not in use, especially through the rainy season. Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth only. Avoid abrasive pads and harsh chemicals that can damage the coated finish. Check that hooks, rods and grate sit securely before every cook, and keep the temperature gauge clear of grease build-up. Everything you need to start cooking arrives in the box, from the hooks and hanger rods to the heat diffuser, charcoal basket and lift-out tool. Whether you are chasing competition-level brisket or simply feeding friends on a Sunday afternoon, the Hero Smoker & Grill is a braai, smoker and pizza oven built to handle all of it.
