How to Use Switch off the engine and allow it to cool completely. Relieve the fuel-system pressure according to the vehicle manufacturer's instructions. Identify the correct fuel test port or suitable inline fuel-hose connection. Select the appropriate hose, fitting or adapter from the kit. Connect the gauge securely and confirm that all fittings are tight. Start or crank the engine according to the vehicle's testing procedure. Read the pressure on the gauge and compare it with the manufacturer's specification. Switch off the engine and carefully relieve the system pressure before disconnecting the tester. Inspect all connections for leaks and store the cleaned components in the case. Safety Information Work only in a well-ventilated area. Keep fuel away from sparks, flames and hot surfaces.
