Xtar B20 1200LM 240m Throw Sports Flashlight Set Rechargeable Description The Xtar B20 1200LM 240m Throw Sports Flashlight Set Rechargeable is a high-performance flashlight designed for outdoor and tactical use, ideal for camping, hiking, and searching. For example, its 1200-lumen output with a 240m throw can illuminate a trail during a night hike, ensuring visibility in low-light conditions. With a tactical tail switch and a complete accessory set, it offers versatile functionality. Featuring a 2-year warranty, this Xtar B20 for Outdoor Use suits campers, hikers, and tactical enthusiasts. Powerful Illumination for Outdoor and Tactical Use The Xtar B20 delivers a maximum output of 1200 lumens using a Cree XP-L2 LED, with a beam throw of 240m and a peak intensity of 14,400 candela, making it ideal for medium-range illumination in outdoor or tactical scenarios. It features five modes, including Turbo, High, Mid, Low, and Strobe, accessible via a tactical tail cap switch: Turbo: Brightest setting for maximum visibility. High: Strong illumination for sustained use. Mid/Signal: Balanced output for general tasks. Low: Energy-saving mode for longer runtime. Strobe: Disorienting flash for emergencies. The runtimes with the included 21700 4900mAh battery are as follows: Turbo (1200 lumens): 3.5 hours High (600 lumens): 5.6 hours Mid/Signal (270 lumens): 13.6 hours Low (30 lumens): 80 hours Strobe (361 lumens): Not specified (typically similar to High mode runtime) Powered by a single 21700 4900mAh lithium-ion battery (included), it does not have built-in charging but comes with an Xtar SC1 charger for external charging, taking approximately 3-4 hours to fully charge. The flashlight is IPX8 waterproof (submersible to 1.5m) and impact-resistant to 1.2m, ensuring reliability in wet or rough conditions, though its 122g weight without battery (approximately 170g with battery) makes it lightweight for EDC. This makes it a versatile choice for outdoor activities, though users should note the lack of built-in charging and plan for external charging during extended use. Durable and Compact Design The Xtar B20 is constructed from aircraft-grade 6N01 aluminum alloy with a Type III hard-anodized anti-abrasive finish, ensuring durability and resistance to wear in rugged outdoor conditions. It measures 146.3mm in length, with a 34.5mm head diameter and 26.8mm body diameter, weighing 122g without the battery, making it compact for EDC or outdoor carry. The flashlight features an orange peel reflector for a balanced beam with a medium hotspot and wide spill, ideal for illuminating large areas, and includes a solid strike bezel for self-defense or rescue, though some users note the bezel can create a slight ring in the beam pattern at close range, as mentioned in web information. It has a tactical tail cap switch for easy mode switching, a stainless steel clip for secure carry, and a holster for additional portability, though the clip's tension may loosen over time with frequent use, as reported in user feedback. Its IPX8 rating ensures it can withstand submersion, making it suitable for rainy conditions, though users should avoid prolonged submersion beyond 1.5m. This makes it a durable, compact choice for outdoor use, though users should use the lockout function (click heavily for locked on) to prevent accidental activation and plan for clip maintenance. Designed for Outdoor and Tactical Use The Torxch Xtar B20 for Outdoor Use is tailored for campers, hikers, and tactical enthusiasts needing a reliable, long-lasting flashlight for outdoor activities, searching, or emergencies. For example, its 1200-lumen Turbo mode with a 240m throw can light up a campsite or trail, while the 30-lumen Low mode provides up to 80 hours of runtime for extended emergencies, though some users have reported the flashlight lacks low voltage protection, drawing the battery down to 2.48V in tests, which could shorten battery lifespan, as noted in web information. The light's five modes offer versatility, and its IPX8 rating ensures reliability in wet conditions, such as during rainy hikes, though the 1.2m impact resistance is moderate, so users should avoid drops. The B20's balanced beam pattern is ideal for medium-range tasks, but its throw is less focused compared to dedicated throwers like the Imalent SR32, as noted in user comparisons. It's perfect for those needing a bright, portable light for outdoor and tactical scenarios, offering a balance of power and runtime, though users should plan for external charging and be mindful of the battery's lack of low voltage protection.
