Some spend the day at a desk, headset firmly on head, call after call. Others are always moving - to filing areas, to colleagues, to meeting rooms, to the stockroom, to the shop floor. Some need the headset to disappear completely when not on a call. Some need to switch between desk, standing, and walking configurations without stopping to change equipment. The Jabra Engage 75 SE Convertible was engineered for every one of them - in a single headset. At just 21 grams , this is the world's lightest professional DECT wireless headset. Twenty-one grams. Less than a standard pen. Less than a single car key. A weight so low that most professionals report forgetting they are wearing it within minutes. Yet despite its featherlight form, the Engage 75 SE Convertible delivers the same enterprise-grade DECT wireless security, the same five-device simultaneous connectivity, and the same Jabra SafeTone 2.0 hearing protection as its 64-gram and 90-gram siblings in the Engage 75 SE range. The defining characteristic of the Convertible is its three wearing modes - and unlike most "convertible" headsets that technically support multiple styles but make switching between them laborious, the Engage 75 SE Convertible is genuinely designed from the ground up to work in all three. All three wearing styles are included in the box: Earhook - the headset clips securely over the ear using the included earhook and EarGels. The most discreet and minimalist wearing option, ideal for active professionals who move frequently and need the headset to stay firmly in place without bulk. Headband - the included headband positions the headset over-the-head in a traditional configuration. Ideal for desk-based professionals who want the familiar stability of a headband style without the weight of a traditional single-ear mono headset. Neckband - the included neckband routes the headset around the back of the neck. Ideal for professionals working in environments where a head-worn device would interfere with safety equipment, hats, or other items - or simply for those who prefer a neckband wearing style for long sessions. Three sets of EarGels in different sizes are included, ensuring the earhook configuration fits comfortably for every ear shape and size. The DECT wireless connection delivers a range of up to 100 metres (330 feet) - covering the full floor area of most offices, retail environments, and contact centre floors. This range is achieved on DECT's dedicated radio frequency, isolated from the congested Wi-Fi and Bluetooth spectrum that every other wireless device in the office shares. The result is a stable, interference-free connection throughout the coverage area. The connection is secured by 256-bit AES encryption and Jabra-patented 128-bit authentication - going beyond DECT Security Level C to provide enterprise-grade wireless call security. The base connects to five devices simultaneously - two USB devices (PC softphone and desk phone), one analog desk phone via the phone adapter cable, and two Bluetooth devices (typically two mobile phones or a phone and a tablet). Every device is live continuously. A call on any device rings through the headset. Switch between active connections from the touchscreen base. Nine hours of talk time with busylight off on a full charge. Fast charging delivers 40% capacity in 30 minutes and 80% in 60 minutes , with a full charge in 90 minutes. The touchscreen base charges the headset whenever it is docked. Jabra SafeTone 2.0 provides PeakStop hearing spike protection and IntelliTone 2.0 daily exposure management throughout every call. The busylight on the earcup signals your in-call status visually to colleagues. Hot-desking is supported across Engage 75 SE and Engage 65 SE bases. Compatible with Zoom, Google Meet, Amazon Chime, and all major UC platforms. Works with Chromebook certified. 21 grams. Three wearing styles. Five devices. 100 metres. The most flexible professional DECT headset available. KEY FEATURES World's Lightest Professional DECT Headset - 21 Grams At 21 grams, the Engage 75 SE Convertible headset module is the lightest professional DECT wireless headset in the world. To contextualise that weight: a standard pen weighs approximately 10-15 grams; a car key approximately 25-40 grams. The Engage 75 SE Convertible sits at the extreme lightweight end of any professional headset category. This low weight has two practical effects. First, the headset exerts negligible force on the ear, the earhook, or the neckband regardless of wearing style - no pressure accumulation over hours of wear. Second, the featherlight design enables the earhook wearing configuration to be genuinely comfortable for all-day active use, unlike heavier headsets where any ear-mounted wearing style becomes uncomfortable after extended periods. Three Wearing Styles Included - Earhook, Headband, and Neckband All three wearing accessories are included in the box - earhook with three sizes of EarGels, a headband, and a neckband. No additional accessory purchase is required to access all three wearing modes. Each style serves a distinct professional use case: Earhook with EarGels - the most secure and discreet option for active, mobile professionals. The EarGel creates a comfortable in-ear anchor that holds the headset firmly during physical movement. Three sizes of EarGels are included for the best individual fit. Headband - the traditional over-the-head wearing style. Provides familiar stability for desk-based use and professionals who prefer the feel of a conventional headband configuration. The headband is lightweight and comfortable for extended wearing sessions. Neckband - the headset routes around the back of the neck, with the earpiece positioned at the ear from below. Suitable for environments where head-worn devices are impractical - cleanrooms, production floors, kitchen environments, physical retail - and for professionals who simply prefer a neckband style for long sessions. 100-Metre DECT Range - Three Times More Users The Engage 75 SE Convertible provides DECT wireless coverage up to 100 metres (330 feet) - sufficient to cover the full floor area of most office environments, contact centre floors, and large retail spaces from a single base. DECT operates on a dedicated radio frequency isolated from Wi-Fi and Bluetooth spectrum, delivering consistent, interference-free performance in any wireless device density. The Convertible's 100-metre range enables three times more users to operate in the same office space compared to standard DECT implementations. 256-Bit AES Encryption Beyond DECT Security Level C Every wireless transmission is secured using 256-bit AES encryption - going beyond DECT Security Level C, the highest defined DECT standard. Jabra-patented 128-bit authentication establishes the pairing between headset and base at double the standard 64-bit security level. For organisations handling confidential conversations, the Engage 75 SE Convertible provides the same enterprise-grade wireless security as the Stereo and Mono variants in the Engage 75 SE range. Five-Device Simultaneous Connection The Engage 75 SE Convertible connects to five devices simultaneously: two USB devices (PC softphone and desk phone), one analog desk phone via phone adapter cable, and two Bluetooth devices. All five connections are live continuously - switch between active calls on any connected device from the touchscreen base. One headset covers every communication channel in a professional's working environment simultaneously. Jabra SafeTone 2.0 - Hearing Protection for Active Professionals SafeTone 2.0 provides PeakStop protection against sudden audio spikes and IntelliTone 2.0 management of cumulative daily sound exposure - EU Noise at Work and G616 compliant. For active professionals who wear a headset throughout a long working day while moving between environments with different ambient noise levels, SafeTone 2.0 provides continuous, automatic hearing management without any configuration required. Touchscreen Base with USB-C Charging The Engage 75 SE Convertible base features a responsive touchscreen interface displaying all connected devices, battery percentage, and call controls. USB-C charging begins automatically when the headset is docked. On-screen setup instructions guide initial device pairing directly on the base. 9-Hour Talk Time with 30-Minute Fast Charge Up to 9 hours of talk time with busylight off on a full charge. Fast charging delivers 40% battery in 30 minutes and 80% in 60 minutes . Full charge in 90 minutes via USB-C. The base charges the headset passively whenever it is docked, ensuring it is always ready for the next session. Busylight - Call Status from the Earcup The busylight on the Engage 75 SE Convertible is positioned on the earcup housing and activates automatically during calls - signalling do-not-disturb status to colleagues in any wearing configuration. It can also be activated manually for focus periods between calls. Corded USB Mode - Wired Operation When Needed The Engage 75 SE Convertible can operate as a corded USB audio device by connecting directly to a PC via USB-C cable (not included in box; available separately or as standard USB-C cable). When connected via USB, the headset functions as a standard USB headset - providing a wired fallback when DECT is unavailable or when extended battery-independent operation is required. Hot-Desking - Headset Follows the Professional The headset pairs to any Engage 75 SE or Engage 65 SE base. In contact centres, retail environments, and flexible workplaces where professionals move between different workstations, the headset travels with the user - pairing quickly to the base at any compatible station. Jabra Direct, Xpress, and SDK Jabra Direct provides individual device configuration and firmware updates. Jabra Xpress enables IT fleet management across all deployed headsets remotely. The Jabra SDK enables custom integration with contact centre and UC software platforms. WHO IS THIS FOR? FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Q: What are EarGels and how do I choose the right size? A: EarGels are soft silicone tips that attach to the earhook fitting and sit gently in the outer ear canal to anchor the headset securely. Three sizes - small, medium, and large - are included in the box. The correct size is the one that sits comfortably and securely without pressing or creating discomfort. Most users find medium fits well; try all three sizes to identify which provides the best fit for your ear shape. The EarGels can be removed and replaced - replacement EarGels and earhook packs are available as accessories (14121-41). Q: How does switching between wearing styles work? A: The headset module clips in and out of each wearing attachment - no tools required. To switch from earhook to headband, unclip the headset module from the earhook, attach the headband, and clip the module into the headband. To switch to neckband, attach the neckband and clip the module in. Each wearing attachment is included in the box and has been engineered specifically for the Convertible module to ensure the microphone boom is correctly positioned in every configuration. The switching process takes less than 30 seconds once you have tried it once. Q: Why does the Convertible have a shorter range (100 metres) than the Stereo and Mono (150 metres)? A: The Convertible's 21-gram form factor requires a smaller physical housing than the Stereo or Mono headsets. The DECT antenna and radio circuitry in that smaller housing produces a shorter operating range of up to 100 metres, compared to 150 metres for the Stereo and Mono variants. In practice, 100 metres is sufficient to cover the full floor area of the majority of office environments, contact centre floors, and retail spaces from a single base. For very large open environments requiring the maximum 150-metre coverage, the Engage 75 SE Stereo or Mono would be the more appropriate choice. Q: Does the Convertible have the same five-device connectivity as the Stereo and Mono? A: Yes. The five-device simultaneous connection is identical across all three Engage 75 SE variants - Stereo, Mono, and Convertible. The base connects to two USB devices, one analog desk phone, and two Bluetooth devices simultaneously in all three models. Q: How does the security exceed DECT Level C? A: DECT Security Level C is the highest level in the DECT standard - it specifies 64-bit authentication and mandatory encryption. The Engage 75 SE Convertible exceeds this in two ways. The wireless transmission uses 256-bit AES encryption, significantly stronger than the minimum required by Level C. The pairing between headset and base uses Jabra-patented 128-bit authentication - double the standard 64-bit. Both measures use FIPS-approved algorithms for key generation, encryption, and authentication. Q: Can I use the Convertible as a wired USB headset? A: Yes. Connecting a USB-C cable to the headset directly (not the base) switches the headset into corded USB mode. In this mode, the headset functions as a standard wired USB audio device - bypassing the DECT wireless connection entirely. A USB-C cable is not included in the box but any standard USB-C cable or a Jabra USB cable accessory (14208-31 USB-A to USB-C; 14208-32 USB-C to USB-C) can be used. Note that call controls and the busylight are not supported when in wired USB mode. Q: What is the difference between the Convertible and the Mono in the Engage 75 SE range? A: The Convertible and the Mono serve different wearing preferences. The Mono is a traditional single-ear over-the-head headband headset - 64 grams, 150-metre range, dual MEMS+ECM microphones, 13-hour talk time. The Convertible is the ultra-lightweight earhook/headband/neckband option - 21 grams, 100-metre range, single ECM microphone, 9-hour talk time. Choose the Mono for maximum range, longer talk time, and dual-microphone noise cancellation. Choose the Convertible for minimum weight, wearing flexibility, and active use cases where the earhook or neckband style is preferred. Q: How does hot-desking work? A: The headset pairs to any Engage 75 SE or Engage 65 SE base. In environments where professionals move between workstations, agents take their headset to any desk with a compatible base and pair it there - the base provides on-screen pairing instructions. All five device connections re-establish at the new base. The headset travels with the professional rather than being tied to a specific workstation. Q: What warranty does the Jabra Engage 75 SE Convertible come with? A: The Jabra Engage 75 SE is backed by a 2-year manufacturer warranty . Please confirm current terms with your retailer at time of purchase. WHY CHOOSE JABRA?
