Hidden Cable Installation Keep your dashboard and windscreen area neat and uncluttered by routing the hardwire cable behind interior trim panels. The permanent installation eliminates the need for a visible cable running to the vehicle's cigarette-lighter socket. 12V-24V Vehicle Compatibility Designed to accept 12V-24V input , making it suitable for compatible passenger vehicles and other supported automotive electrical systems. The kit converts the vehicle's power supply to the required dash cam output. Automatic Low-Voltage Battery Protection To help protect the vehicle battery from excessive discharge, the hardwire kit automatically cuts off power after approximately 60 seconds when the vehicle battery voltage drops below 11.8V 0.2V . This helps prevent the dash cam from continuously draining a low vehicle battery. Multiple Built-In Safety Protections The upgraded RTH30GS includes protection against low voltage, over-current, short circuits, reverse connection and overheating . These integrated safeguards help provide more reliable operation during permanent vehicle installation. Easy Installation with Included Tool An installation tool is included to assist with routing the cable behind vehicle trim and interior panels.
